1. CLUB WEEKLY PLAYER PRIZE:
Each week Greg and the junior comittee will award players with weekly performance, attitude, team player prize. Players just need to click thier name and Gunn Tennis will arrange the prize to the elected players. If prize is not collected in the week given it will be forfited and passed to next week.
Hewitt Award For Competitivness and Hard work. Player shows unmatched level of Fighting spirit and a "Never Give-up attitude" Working extremly hard to fight and chase every ball.
Rafter Award For Net play and great Doubles. Player takes time and space away from his/ her opponent by moving forward and controlling the net. Great movement forward and loking to make volleys and netplay.
Stousur Award Aggressive play and Risk taker. Player shows good aggressive play and looks to take the game on. Not afraid to take some risks and show domination of points with aggression and shot making.
Tomic Award Tactical and perception. Player has shown a great tactical awarness and undrestands oponents strengths and weakness. Very good vision and shot quality, controling pace and tempo.
Ash Barty Award For players that show fluent movement/ agility around the court and have exeptional balance and footwaork. Displays appropriate movement patterns and prepares and competes all day.
Peter Luczak Award is for great sportsmanship and on court behaviour. The player has shown outstanding sportsmanship both on and off court and becomes the real team club player.
Wayne Authurs award. Great serving technique and serve used as the big weapon to set plays up.
Molik Award. Working to develop game and focused on set performance goals.
2. Theme morning, Fgate players at HOME GAMES will be asked to participate in the Theme Morning. Prizes and awards given to the players who are part of such FUN
